Welcome to the Eye Care Clinical Reference Group space

The CRG cover eye care, with the medical and surgical care of the eyes.  This includes diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the eye and visual system.  Subspecialty areas include:

  • Cornea and anterior segment
  • Medical retina
  • Uveitis
  • Glaucoma
  • Ocular oncology
  • Adnexal
  • Paediatric ophthalmology/strabismus
  • Surgical retina (vitreo-retinal)

The initial thinking is that Glaucoma will be the first specialty area for review with input from specialists in this area.

The next meetings of the group are 23 March 2023 12:30 - 14:00 UTC and 18 May 2023 11:30 - 13:00 UTC ( https://snomed.zoom.us/my/opthamology Password 008589).
