Goals

  • Update all Member Representative on current status of the E-Learning.
  • Gain additional comments and advice on the outcome of the Workshop discussions on future E-Learning enhancements to address and meet requirements. 
  • Learn about SNOMED CT related educational activities in Member countries
  • Share materials and experience related to SNOMED CT education to support the strategic objectives of IHTSDO

6Supporting Delivery (WP1)
  • Brief updates on course progress.

    • Foundation Course - 950 successful completions
    • Implementation Course - 29 successful completions and roughly 70 more expected to complete by mid May, 3rd intake halfway, 4th intake starting in May.
    • Content Development Course - 1st intake of 40 in progress through course will complete in May, 2nd intake starting in May. Plans to increase capacity for Sept intake.
  • Applications for Foundations continue to be result in course entry within 3 to 6 weeks. Applications for other course will next be reviewed in mid July for next intakes in September.
  • Evaluation and feedback reports
  • Update on status of plans for Member expert involvement in Webinars

  • Discussion of the recommendations from those discussions

  • Updates from Members on any current use of Foundation Course shared materials.

  • Translation activities update. Chile leading work in Spanish translation.
