Role
- Provide oversight of all virtual clinical group activity
- Provide cross fertilization of discussions/activities across all Virtual Clinical Groups
- Review work requests from Virtual Clinical Groups and provide recommendations for future action
- Agree formation of a new Virtual Clinical Groups
- Provision of a mechanism for reaching agreement on conflicting clinical content requirements between Virtual Clinical groups
- Provide mechanism for reporting to the organisation on the issues raised through the Virtual Clinical Groups
Reporting
The Clinical Coordination Group will provide quarterly reports to the Management Board on Virtual Clinical Group activity. This will include:
- Summary of Virtual Clinical Group activty
- Identification of requirements highlighted by the Virtual Clinical Groups, and reviewed and accepted by the Clinical Coordination Group.
- Requests for new Virtual Clinical groups
Meeting schedule
The group will communicate virtually with a formal quarterly meeting to review and agree the report to Management Board.
Ad hoc meetings to discuss particular issues raised through the Virtual Clinical Groups, which would benefit from a discussion rather than just email
