The second deliverable on this OIDM site. The deliverable page is focused on organism classes based on phenotype (SEE phenotypic classes.docx). I have also completed preliminary assessments of classes related to antimicrobial resistance and susceptibility, so-called "CDC" classes (SEE documents associated with this meeting). Unaddressed at this time are the various applications of bacterial "groups" and "complexes" (some of which are present in the upper hierarchy of bacteria).
- I want to suggest that progress is more likely if the project is divided into a series of small (fasttrack) projects that can be readily analyzed and completed. I would like to select one of these topics as a priority and discuss the information presented in the associated document.
