I ran an occurrence analysis against the Nebraska EHR for the frequency of occurrence of any of the Evaluation procedures in the defined scope AND for any Clinical findings that employ an Interprets relationship with coded value  in our project scope.  We have precious few occurrences of the evaluation procedures, primarily miscodes inserted into the problem list.  However there are a million occurrences of the clinical findings in problem list, family history, past history and allergy list that specify a set of a couple hundred evaluation procedures that I propose as focus for our testing.  Since that is only one enterprise EHR, I ask if you can do comparable frequency analyses on the systems you have available to validate our test cases?

I attach an updated spreadsheet with the frequency of procedure codes and clinical findings in use at Nebraska, and I have walked through in the appended slide set an analysis for the far and away most common use case: 104780002 Lipid measurement (procedure).  Please chime in on this thread when you have anything to share.
