The Agenda for the ELAG meetings on 23 Nov 22:00 UTC and 25 Nov 08:00 UTC have now been posted. In addition to Draft ELAG Work Plan is also posted on that site.

Please take a look at and if you wish add comments to the Draft ELAG Work Plan as the main item on the agenda is to discuss and finalize the Work Plan. In future meetings the group will then turn its attention wholeheartedly to carrying out the plan through future meeting and online interactions. Thank you.

The ELAG site now contains a page identifying the latest status of regarding E-Learning Courses that are open for Applications.

The course open for applications include the Foundation and Implementation courses which are now permanently open for applications and the Content Development Theory course which open on 9th November and close 23rd November (this is for the initial pilot entry in January and the next scheduled intake in April. See more detail on the ELAG Confluence page: Notice of Open E-Learning Course Applications.

Hi everyone,

With the development of the Content Development Theory Course I am looking to ensure that participants have the opportunity to consider content development outside of that which occurs for the international release. To that end I would like to ask if there are members of ELAG who would be willing to provide material that could be used in the presentations. You will have the opportunity to review the relevant presentation/s prior to them being used in the course and where needed I’d be looking to communicate with you to clarify items as required.

In particular I am looking for:

• National and Local Editorial guidelines.

• Screen shots from authoring tools (excluding the IHTSDO workbench). In addition if you have template based authoring functionality, screen shots of that would also be of value. For consistency I’d suggest we use an international concept such as a Fracture of femur.

• Information on the maintenance processes undertaken by those managing national extensions.

If you are able to assist please contact me via cri@ihtsdo.org I’d like to look to gathering the relevant material over the next two to three weeks if possible.

Thank you,

Cathy
