Deliverables:
We prepared an updated Alpha release (formerly known as a Technology Preview) of the LOINC - SNOMED CT Cooperation Project and made it available for review on 1 April, 2016.
- This release featured flattened rather than nested Expressions which were utilized in previous releases.
- Also included were some content updates based on feedback from reviewers of the last release, the Observables Group, Regenstrief Institute and the Substance Redesign Team.
Next steps:
Review feedback received on the latest Alpha release and make necessary modifications
Continue discussing modeling issues with the Observables Group and Regenstrief Institute
Start mapping and modeling existing Observable content in SNOMED CT (e.g. vital signs)
Prepare and release Candidate Baseline: 1 March, 2017.
