Dear all, in The Neterlands, we are struggeling with translating concept 435691000124100 |Diet modified for specific foods or ingredients (regime/therapy)| and its child concepts. For instance, 1162724005 |Modified egg diet (regime/therapy)|. How should this concept be interpreted; should it be interpreted as both suppletion and/or restriction of a particular nutrient? In which context would this concept be recorded in the medical record? I hope this project group could help us with this. I was not sure where to post our question. Thanks in advance!
Egg modified diet is a diet regime/therapy that can be used for situations when more or fewer eggs are desired and/or modification based on, for example, intolerance (eg, no egg yolk). This is a refinement to other diets that may be in place. Because the parent is 435691000124100 |Diet modified for specific foods or ingredients (regime/therapy)|, these are not nutrient modifications but food based modifications.
