I'm trying to scope out some work relating to virus and wanting to confirm what the preferred reference source is.

I was looking at OntoBee/OBO work (specifically http://www.ontobee.org/ontology/NCIT?iri=http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/NCIT_C14283)

The ICTV work (https://talk.ictvonline.org/taxonomy/) looks to be more current and more authoritive?

I'm was finding conflicts with other material e.g. 243615000|Family Bunyaviridae (organism)| looks like an outdated concept now.
The concept 735351006|Order Bunyavirales (organism)| does exist, however, only subsumes a single Family (Hantaviridae)

The content currently in SNOMED CT looks to use a bit of both though might be closer to OBO (presumably out of legacy).

Ultimately I'm wanting to write some queries and trying to predict how these might eventually break (and defend against such).
