Summary

New concepts using the pre-coordination pattern Primary <x> procedure are no longer allowed in the International Edition and management of the current active Primary <x> procedure concepts was also raised for consideration. The decision not to include this content has been questioned and input is being sought from CMAG on the usefulness and applicability of these types of concepts to countries.  

Initial discussion on this topic will be had at the October 2017 CMAG face to face meeting. Link below.

Date: 18th October 2017

The CMAG was advised that Primary <x> procedure concepts were not found to be internationally applicable and given vagueness in meaning the current active concepts will be returned to the UK. The timing of this work is yet to be determined.
