  1. Hi Monica,

Just to be absolutely sure about the correct version of the EG. In the page https://confluence.ihtsdotools.org/display/DraftEGR/SNOMED+CT+Editorial+Guide that you provided in your Google sheet there is a PDF version  from 2017-03-08 which is a bit confusing as the latest version of the EG seems to be from 2018-01-31? It is in this page https://confluence.ihtsdotools.org/display/DOCEG.

At the left side of the screen there is an online version from 2018-04-19. I suppose this is the one you want us to review.  /Camilla

    1. Camilla Wiberg Danielsen, I've updated the PDF on that page which now reflects the updated/new content .

  2. Thanks Rory,

Is the PDF (dated 2018-05-14) and the online version on the left (dated 2018-Apr-19) the same now? The dates are different, but the content can of course be the same. Please be very clear if the are the same and in case they are not, which one you want us to review. /Camilla

    1. It represents and is the same as the content that you are seeing on the site. The date is just the date that the PDF was generated, apologies for the confusion!

  3. Hi,

    I'm confuse too...

When I look at the Table of Contents from the web page section Part II: Authoring , there are 4 rubriques, and if I look at the PDF Table of Contents, Part II: Authoring has 6 rubriques...

Can you confirm which version should be checked?

    Thank you!

    1. Hi Linda Parisien, I can again confirm this is the same data. The PDF has simply generated some extra headings in the table of content based on page formatting. The content, however, is the same.

  4. Monica Harry I finally got time to review the editorial guide (on the last day...), but I'm not able to open the google sheet. Can you help me with that?

    1. Hello Elze,

I checked and as I thought, the sheet is shared with you so you should be able to add comments. Which email address are you using to access it... thanks, Monica

Rory Davidson - I have shared the google sheet with you. Do you know why Elze may not be able to access it? thanks, Monica

      1. could you try this emailadress: grootnictiz@gmail.com?

      2. I can open the sheet, but am unable to edit it. I only have a private Google account, that I prefer not to use for business. I have tried to use this private account to grant access to edit the document, but nothing happened.

Is it possible for you to send the sheet in an e-mail and to expand the deadline e.g. for Wednesday next week? /Camilla

      3. Hi Monica, thanks for sending the document, but could it be in a editable format i.e. not PDF? Sorry for being late and difficult (smile) /Camilla

        1. Np, I did not see the option to select PDF or xls so no need to apologise. Learning as we go... Sorry, not more streamlined in the process... (wink)

  5. Dear CMAG members,

Just to confirm that despite sharing the google sheet with each of you editing in some cases is restricted.

Would you please let me know if are NOT able to edit the sheet.

If you use an alternative email address which you are not averse to sharing, please send along so that I can share the google sheet via that address.

In view of this the deadline is now May 31st.

    Thank you for participating. Monica

  6. Hi Monica, I've added some comments to my google sheet but let me know if you can't see them.  Just a general comment that there has been a lot of work going in to this and looks like a great improvement.

    Best wishes

    Elaine

    1. Hi Elaine,

Thanks so much. Nice to hear and yes, it has been a lot of work but I think well worth the effort.

      all the best

      Monica

  7. I've made a number of attempts at entering my comments in to the google spreadsheet, and having had various comments inadvertently wiped I've given up.

  8. John Fountain - I am sorry to hear you are having these issues. How frustrating! The main thing is for you to review the guide and just send me an email if you find errors, omissions or generally confusing information. This not a one time activity. The document evolves over time so if at any time you are using the guide and come across issues, please let us know. Thanks for taking the time and again sorry it was a waste of your time. Monica

  9. I'll look at emailing a reply as this is a very useful initiative to comment on.
