  1. Therapeutic roles in SNOMED CT have been studied and compared to the MED-RT classification. See this presentation at the SNOMED Expo in 2022:

While this investigation does not directly answer the questions posed in the briefing, it sheds some light on the potential usefulness of the therapeutic roles and offers some replacement solution for them.

  2. Thank you Olivier Bodenreider  and it was great to meet you and your colleague Robert Wynne in Atlanta.

Thank you for your presentation comparing therapeutic classes between MED-RT and SNOMED CT. Does MED-RT have international usage outside of the US?  Is there a mapping to SNOMED CT? https://www.nlm.nih.gov/research/umls/sourcereleasedocs/current/MED-RT/index.html

We are collating all feedback from our consultation and will be creating a Briefing Note in due course for circulation to stakeholders.
