Dear all,

In order to better support the contributors to the EDQM Map, and the timelines of the various cycles, SNOMED International are planning to move the EDQM Map package release from the January release cycle to the July release cycle.

This means that, from the next EDQM release onwards, we will Map the content using the relevant July International Edition release content as a baseline. We will then aim to publish the EDQM Map package by the end of September each year.

As mentioned, this will begin from the upcoming EDQM release, which will therefore be dependent upon the July 2024 International Edition package.  It will be published by the 30th September 2024.

Please review the above information and send any questions to “release@snomed.org”.

Kind regards,

Andrew Atkinson  |  Release Manager
