The adoption of SNOMED CT by clinicians is essential to the success of SNOMED CT. To support this work, SNOMED international is looking to develop a library of documented use cases, where SNOMED CT is being used by clinicians and clinical groups. The documentation follows a template approach allowing ease of reading, and also to ensure that all the newark details are included in the documentation.

The standard headings are as follows:

  • Name/Organisation
  • Clinical domain
  • Executive summary
  • Stakeholders
  • Scope
  • Use case description
  • Existing state
  • New state
  • Details of experience of using SNOMED CT
  • Additional information

Use case review library (with summaries)

Additionally, the UK Terminology Centre provides a library of SNOMED CT Use Cases - https://hscic.kahootz.com/connect.ti/t_c_home/viewcontent?contentid=301171&done=CONCreated
