Obtaining Terminologies
Native terminology files are maintained and distributed by individual source providers. Each terminology has its own pages, policies, and procedures for this and also has its own update cycles. Information on the four terminologies used so far with this tool are provided here.
- SNOMED CT - Obtained from your NRC (varies)
- ICD10 - Obtained from WHO - http://www.who.int/classifications/icd/en/
- ICD9CM - 2011 edition - ftp://ftp.cdc.gov/pub/Health_Statistics/NCHS/Publications/ICD9-CM/2011/
