Overview

Complete and publish the delivery of the interventions linkage table, and the updating of the diagnosis linkage table. The work is in collaboration with ICNP, with QA of the data provided by the Nursing SIG. Creation of new subsets as requested.

Scope is defined by the content included in ICNP, and the requirement to create a linkage table between ICNP and SNOMED CT

1Creation of a new subset comprised of SNOMED concepts used in Nursing practise with the INCP Equivalence Table as a starter set.

The baseline candidate concepts have been selected, reviewed and approved by the Nursing Clinical group. The concepts will be uploaded to the Refset management tool as first step in creating the subsets.

There are two sets namely,

1.Nursing Activities reference set

2. Nursing Health Issues reference set.

ICNP to SNOMED CT Interventions and Diagnostics equivalency tables

Nursing Activities and Nursing Health Issues refset packages

  1. Bi-annual publication of current version of each equivalency table based on relevant changes revealed after running a Difference Report comparing the table with the SNOMED CT International Release.
  2. Bi-annual publication of the current version of each refset based on relevant changes revealed after running a Difference Report comparing the table with the SNOMED CT International Release.

Target date for both products: March 31st and Sep. 30th
