Implement SNOMED CT Enabled Architecture

The fifth step in the process is to implement your SNOMED CT-enabled system architecture. 

Implementation Options

1. Implement a local development, procure a system or a combination
1. Design, develop and test, in agile, iterative cycles, or
2. Define the criteria to decide if to procure an existing system, a new system, or a customized system
2. Engage all stakeholders
1. Involve a multi-disciplinary team, e.g.
1. Clinicians, system architects, software designers, developers, management, clinical researchers, user experience designers, data security experts
2. Work with clinical champions, selected from the user community
3. Communicate benefits and listen to feedback
4. Implement a user training, feedback and support system
