  1. Nicola Ingram , I made some changes to the template, included additional causative agent of physical force and restricted the role group to 1..1 to address potential crossover.  The description included 'due to fin/proc' to reflect the model. The link to misalignment reports are added. The simple and optional complex report would be the report to work on. If you do not have any further changes, this template is ready for implementation.

  2. Thanks Yongsheng Gao

Can I ask a question - if an SD ulcer described as Acute or Chronic and with an Associated morphology of either Acute ulcer (morphologic abnormality) or Chronic ulcer (morphologic abnormality) but missing the Clinical course value acute or chronic, as most of them are, can the Template normalization be made to fix this or can this be fixed by another mechanism?

For example, 95530000 |Chronic gastric ulcer (disorder)| is missing the clinical course = chronic.

  3. Nicola Ingram , unfortunately this is not part of normalisation.  I did a quick query and found about 200 concepts modelled by acute or chronic morphologies. You can request for a separate task for batch changes by Peter G. Williams

  4. I'm concerned that the report you've got there has multiple "A" against the templates.   I last saw that when we made the change to SnowOwl6 and the paging wasn't compatible with our script so instead of working through pages of concepts, we ran the same concepts against the same templates many times - hence AAAAAAA appearing.    That was fixed, but we're seeing it here again.  I'll investigate.

    1. That turned out to be a cosmetic issue because we cache concepts in memory (so we're not loading SNOMED every time we run a report) and since it's the concept that remembers which templates it failed to match, when you run multiple times you collect "A"s .    They get cleared out when MAIN is updated because we reload concepts into memory at that point.

I'll ship a fix in the next deployment - RP-136

  5. Thanks Peter G. Williams.

Hi Nicola Ingram , the issue mentioned by Peter is only related to the text in the template diagnostic. It does not have impact the number of concepts that are misaligned. So, you can start to resolve the misalignment now.

  6. Thanks  Yongsheng Gao will start on misaligned now.

Re Template I was thinking very few of the ulcer concepts have a Due to (which is not in other Templates) so if that is an issue we can leave out for the diagnostic.

  7. Nicola Ingram  I tested and there are no differences with or without due to. So, we do not need to change the template. You can work on the report for simple pattern which should have excluded concepts modelled by due to.
