Hi Suzanne Santamaria , just double check if attribute 'Has active ingredient' will not be used for drug eluting stent (product).
If these three attributes are potentially applicable to all devices, should we consider creating a single template for all devices? Then, different subhierarchies will need to choose a specific proximal primitive parent during authoring. Do we have any estimation on the number of similar templates?

Hi Yongsheng Gao, we think 'Has active ingredient' may be used for drug eluting stent (product). If I recall correctly, we are postponing the modeling of the drug eluting stents until we can evaluate them further (Toni Morrison ?). I think it is worth discussing whether we need a template for each subhierarchy of devices as the number of templates could end up being quite large. There may be around 15-20 templates for implants alone. Implants are the target of the first phase of the project and may take a couple of years to complete given the current low resource allocation for the project. Thanks, Suzanne
