Hi Yongsheng Gao would you have a look at this template please when you get the chance. I've narrowed the body structure down to 59820001 |Blood vessel structure (body structure)| as this template applies to 765173004 |Doppler ultrasonography of blood vessel (procedure)|
The intention was to inactivate 8306009 |Diagnostic Doppler ultrasonography (procedure)| as ambiguous and possibly equivalent to 765173004 |Doppler ultrasonography of blood vessel (procedure)| and new concept Doppler ultrasonography (procedure). But all doppler references I am finding are to blood vessel structures so there is no need for a new generic concept? 8306009 |Diagnostic Doppler ultrasonography (procedure)| is already modeled with 59820001 |Blood vessel structure (body structure)|. Additionally of the 184 descendants of 765172009 |Doppler ultrasound (procedure)| only 10 are not modeled with <<59820001 |Blood vessel structure (body structure)| and probably should be.
I've removed the descriptions referring to ultrasound as Doppler ultrasound without imaging is a different procedure.

Hi Elaine Wooler, I have updated the format for cardinalities as discussed at the QI meeting. I agree that most existing concepts should be modelled by blood vessels. For Doppler echocardiography, they are modelled by << |Heart structure|, e.g. Myocardial strain. There is a good reference paper at https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/pdf/10.1161/01.CIR.102.10.1158
I cannot find clinical applications other than the cardiovascular system for Doppler ultrasonography. A single group concept |Doppler ultrasonography (procedure)| with the direct procedure site of 113257007 |Structure of cardiovascular system (body structure)| could be sufficient until other applications are identified.
