Hi all,

We currently have two types of history of abuse concepts and I am looking to understand how you interpret the meaning of both.
History of abuse e.g. History of physical abuse (situation)
History of victim of abuse e.g. 288391000119107 |History of victim of child physical abuse (situation)|

Do you interpret these to both to mean a history of being a victim of a type of abuse or would you interpret the former to have a broader meaning? If the former has a broader meaning to you, what would you interpret that to mean?

Thanks,

Cathy

i would think that abuse could include physical, sexual, emotional, verbal and/or financial abuse.  as such, i would agree that the former would be broader because it just says 'abuse' while the latter has a code that seems to be focused on child physical abuse?
