This is a scheduled maintenance release for the Classification Service, with frequent release dependencies aligned to the Authoring Platform Version 8.17.0 release. There are no user-interaction changes in this release, and functionality remains identical to the previous release version, however the Java application spring boot library dependencies are upgraded for improved maintainability and stability. The classification-service component module version build number below, although similar, is not directly tied to the application level release version number.
