• In  each component version is represented as a single row with a unique combination of component.id and component.effectivetime.
• The component.id uniquely identifies the  and is shared by other versions of that component.
• The component.effectiveTime distinguishes different versions of the same . It indicates the point in time at which that version became the authoritative version of that component.  The effectiveTime of the first version of a component represents the time when it first became available for use. The effectiveTime of each subsequent version of a component represents the time when that version superseded the previous version.
