Staff from SNOMED CT National Release Centers (NRCs) who are interested in the Managed Service tooling.

Please note:

• All participants must have attended the 'SNOMED CT Managed Service for Beginners' workshop.
• Participants must bring their own laptop with Google Chrome installed.

Abstract

This tutorial provides a hands-on introduction to authoring using SNOMED International's training version of the Managed Service Authoring Platform. Led by an experienced SNOMED CT author, participants will be guided through a series of authoring activities.

Objectives

After completing this tutorial, participants should be able to use SNOMED International’s Managed Service authoring platform to:

• Create a new concept
• Perform simple concept changes
• Find the stated, inferred and authoring form of a concept
• Classify SNOMED CT
