Dear all,

The January 2018 distribution of the General Practitioner/Family Practitioner (GP/FP) SNOMED CT® Reference Sets and SNOMED CT® to ICPC-2 Map package has been updated.  This update supersedes the version originally released on April 16th 2018.

There have been no content updates, with the only change being to the refsetDescriptor file, and so unless you specifically use this file then there is no requirement to use the updated package.  You can continue to use the original package (SnomedCT_GPFPICPC2_PRODUCTION_20180416T120000Z.zip) until the next GP/FP release, which will also include the updated refsetDescriptor file.

If you do wish to use the updated package it is available from the  “January 2018 v1.1” version in the “GP/FP SNOMED CT Refset and SNOMED CT to ICPC2 Map package - SNOMED International” project, which can be found on the “IHTSDO Releases” page in MLDS, accessed here:

https://mlds.ihtsdotools.org/#/ihtsdoReleases

The file name of the updated package is as follows - note the updated date stamp to distinguish this from the original release, as per the new file naming conventions:

The Release Notes can be downloaded as distinct pdf files from the same MLDS release version:

The Release Notes can also be accessed online from the following pages:

Those Members using MLDS as their distribution site will find that their affiliates have access to the new release automatically.

If you have any questions about the January 2018 GP/FP SNOMED CT® Reference Sets and SNOMED CT® to ICPC-2 Map package, or have difficulties downloading the files from the distribution site, please contact SNOMED International at support@snomed.org with “January 2018 GP/FP SNOMED CT® Reference Sets and SNOMED CT® to ICPC-2 Map package release question” in the subject line.
