Background

Nursing Clinical Reference Group is reviewing an U.S validated and refined value set for pain assessment.

The goal of the review is to identify several factors.

1. Identify terminology with in the value set with international usage in nursing.
2. Identify SNOMED CT concepts that represent these internationally used terminologies.
3. Identify the need for and suggest new SNOMED CT concepts to represent internationally relevant terminology.
