The following overviews the main components of the Edit View Screen

Left navigation bar

ComponentsReference

The left navigation bar Is made up of icons (buttons) that you select to navigate through the different views that are available in the editing screen. The icons are explained at the far right of this page, see the legend for the function that each icon performs.

  • Create New / Edit Existing Concept - For more information see, Create New / Clone Existing Concept
  • Create New Concept from Template - see information note below
  • Classification Report menu - Allows user to open an exciting Classification Report or initiate a new one. For more information see, Classification
  • Validation Report menu - Allows user to open an exciting Validation Report or initiate a new one.  
  • Pull in new changes from Project
  • Feedback View - Allows user to open an exciting Review or initiate a new one.  
  • Restore the Default Editing View
  • Hide the Left Sidebar
  •  Hide the Concept Models


Project setting

The New Concept from Template icon button only appears when Template and Batch Authoring is enabled in the project settings.


 

Authoring Widget Bar

There are particular panel options in this view, you can toggle between each panel for different functionality. The options are: 

ReferenceItem

 

 

Taxonomy: This tab displays the entire SNOMED hierarchy. For more information see: Editing View - Taxonomy
 

 

 

Keyboard shortcut

You can also do this by pressing alt + 1

Search: The search tab allows a user to search SNOMED by typing text in the search field. For more information see: Edit View - Search

The Saved List tab allows a user to save concepts to a list for use within a task or project. For more information see: Edit View - Saved Lists

The Switch to Feedback View tab allows a user to switch to the feedback tab during a review or during editing to preview a review. For more information see: Review Tasks - Tasks Submitted for Review.

The Create Batch View tab allows a user to switch to the batch mode for uploading multiple concepts from a batch definition file. For more information see: Creating a Batch of Concepts from a Template.

The task details tab allows a user to view and edit the details of a task as well as perform a variety of task functions. See Modify / View Task Details & Actions

Project setting

This tab only appears when Template and Batch Authoring is enabled in the project settings.
