The following sections describe the syntax used by the SNOMED CT Template Syntax. This syntax is a serialised representation of the logical model presented in the previous chapter, and is therefore logically equivalent. While alternative syntaxes are possible, the syntax presented below is considered to be the normative standard for interoperability purposes.
