SNOMED International has identified clinical input into the development of SNOMED CT as being crucial to ensure that the terminology continues to meet current and future clinical requirements. Clinical Engagement looks to support clinical input, and also to support clinicians themselves who are actively working with SNOMED CT-enabled systems. The session aims to showcase examples of clinicians using SNOMED CT or actively supporting other clinicians to do so. The session will also provide SNOMED International updates on current projects and work in progress, this will include the invaluable work undertaken by both clinical reference groups (CRGs) and clinical project groups (PGs).
