This is a scheduled maintenance release for the Authoring Platform, running on the Snowstorm terminology server. This is a major version change which moves the terminology server's underlying Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosting platform from ElasticSearch (ELS) 6 to ELS 7, necessary due to end of support for ELS 6. Whilst there are no significant feature changes in this release, the migration to ELS 7 influences the behaviour of all search-related features, bringing with it efficiency and performance benefits for future enhancements, alongside continuity of hosting platform maintenance support. An immediate benefit of the migration is the ability to run ECL searches that return large results sets without hitting previous performance constraints.
The SCT Browser (TS Browser) version is updated to version 3.13.3 for consistency with the SCTB 3.13.3 Public Browser patch update on 26 August (landing page update). There are no feature changes to the TS Browser.
