What is the SNOMED CT Content Request Service (CRS)?
This tool allows users to request modify or make additions to SNOMED CT.
How do I get to CRS?
Please go to https://request.ihtsdotools.org or http://snomed.org/crs, where you will be asked to log in.

What type of content requests can I make?

Users able to create requests to add, modify or retire information in SNOMED CT including:
- Creating a new Concept(s)
- New Synonym(s)
- Add Parent(s)
- Modify Description(s)
- Modify Parent(s)
- Modify Relationship(s)
- New Relationship(s)
- Retire Concept(s)
- Retire Description(s)
- Retire Relationship(s)
- Other:
- Request for new attributes to be introduced
- Request for existing attributes to be removed
- Request for existing Refsets to be amended (new members or changes)
- Request for enhancement (clean-up) of areas of SNOMED CT
- Request for changes to the concept model
- Changes to editorial policy statements
- Changes to text definitions (e.g. "surgical procedure")
- Request for Quality initiative to address specific quality issues within the Terminology
How are Requests Prioritized?
All requests are treated as normal priority with the exception of data errors. Where a request points towards a possible error in SNOMED CT, the request will be prioritized for investigation.
How do I submit a request?
There are three methods of creating requests for SNOMED Content: Simple Mode, Direct Mode, and Batch Mode. To learn more about these modes and help choosing the correct one see: Creating Requests
Can I save my Content Request and return to it later for completion?
Users may exist the system for later completion, validation, and submission.
Can I modify my Request once it is submitted?
As an requestor you can do a number of things on each request - Managing Submitted Requests Screen

1. Create Requests
1.1 Simple Mode

2. Batch Import and Batch Details
2.1 Import New Batch
From CRS Dashboard, click on New Batch Import from the left panel to navigate to the Batch Import page. drag & drop or browse for a batch file into upload zone (1).

The file will be uploaded to the server (1) and notify user once it completed (2) (3), you can click on each tab (4) to review your uploaded requests. once you are happy with the file, click Import Request (5) button to show import statistic (figure 22), and then click on Import button to import it to the system. Otherwise, you can delete it if you want.

2.2 View My Batches
From CRS Dashboard, click on My Batch Requests (1) from the left panel to navigate to the batches page (2).

Click on a batch row to go to batch request detail as below screenshot

3. Request Actions
3.1 Accept Request
From CRS Dashboard, on Submitted Requests, click on a request which has status is New to go to request details page

Click on Accept Request (1) button to accept a request, then you will be redirected to CRS Dashboard

3.3 Reject Request
From CRS Dashboard, on Submitted Requests, click on a request to go to request details page
Click on Reject Request (1) button and provide a reason to reject a request, then you will be redirected to CRS Dashboard

3.5 Pend Request For Clarification
From CRS Dashboard, on Submitted Requests, click on a request to go to request details page
Click on Pending Clarification (1) button and provide a reason to reject a request, then you will be redirected to CRS Dashboard

3.6 Appeal Rejected Request
From CRS Dashboard, on My Requests, click on a rejected request to go to request details page
Click on Appeal Rejection (1) button to appeal a request, then you will be redirected to CRS Dashboard

3.7 Withdraw Request
From CRS Dashboard, on My Requests, click on a submitted request to go to request details page
Click on Withdraw Request (1) button and provide a reason to withdraw a request, then you will be redirected to CRS Dashboard

3.8 Assign Request
From CRS Dashboard, click on Accepted Requests (1) from the left panel, tick to select accepted request from the list (2) then click on Assign button (3) to show assignment dialog

select a project from Project drop-down list, type assignee name in Assignee text box to get suggestions and pick one, provide summary for authoring task and click Assign Requests button to create task.

4. Notifications
If there is any change which related to your submitted requests such as status changed, new comment added, batch importing completed, then CRS will inform you via its notification feature.
from any page of CRS you will see the bell icon Image Removed at the very top right of the page, the number of new notifications shall be display as number which next to the bell. you can click on the bell icon to see the list of notifications and click on each message to go to request details or batch details.

Notes:
CRS only notify user about new comment/feedback/question/answer added if it provided in CRS. For comments which come from out side of CRS such as JIRA, user will not get any notification.
