Welcome to the SNOMED CT User Support Reference Group!

SNOMED International is committed to supporting the adoption of SNOMED CT in national, regional and local implementations.

The SNOMED CT User Support Reference Group (USRG) is a community group established by SNOMED International to explore SNOMED CT implementation topics. This user group is designed to support

  • The consideration of implementation issues and discussion of potential solutions,
  • The sharing of implementation lessons learned and user perspectives, and
  • The advocacy of implementation best practices.

Activities

The SNOMED CT User Support Reference Group incorporates a number of activities, including

  1. The Implementation Web Series - A collection of quarterly webinars, which focus on SNOMED CT implementation topics important to our user community.
  2. The Drug Extension User Support Group (DEUSG) - A community driven group providing support to implementers of SNOMED CT drug extensions. 
  3. The Mapping Tool User Group (MTUG) - A user group formed to help clarify and prioritise requirements for a tool for mapping from other code systems to SNOMED CT.
