O objetivo do Guia de Introdução ao SNOMED CT é ser um ponto de partida prático e útil a partir do qual qualquer um com um interesse geral em informações em saúde pode começar a aprender sobre o SNOMED CT. 

Público-Alvo

O público-alvo deste Guia de Introdução são pessoas de várias disciplinas que podem estar envolvidas em algum ponto do ciclo de gestão de informação do SNOMED CT – desde o planejamento inicial, definição de conteúdo clínico e implementação até o uso das informações clínicas resultantes. Isso abrange pessoas envolvidas no planejamento e decisão de proceder na implementação do SNOMED CT, pessoas envolvidas no desenvolvimento de conjuntos de referências, gerenciamento de terminologia, implementação técnica e todos os aspectos da implementação e uso.
