Are you a software developer with an interest in eHealth? Have you been asking yourself what on earth FHIR and SNOMED CT are (aside from a couple more acronyms to learn about)? This day is for you. Join other developers for a full day of hands-on learning and exercises that will help use both of these powerful standards to drive semantic interoperability and clinical decision support.
Led by SNOMED CT and FHIR experts and healthcare thought leaders, you will gain insight into the power of SNOMED CT and FHIR and their game-changing impact on healthcare delivery across the globe.
Proudly sponsored by Orion Health & Produced by SNOMED International & Gevity Inc.
Cost: $50 (or free with a SNOMED CT Expo registration)
Who is this event for?
Developers and system designers and anyone else interested in how SNOMED CT and FHIR can work together
What do I need to bring?
Since this session is hands-on, everyone needs to bring their own laptop. We will supply pretty much everything else: the food, international standards experts, resources to conduct the exercises, power, wifi and a one-of-a-kind t-shirt. If you have a healthcare app, bring it along to work on it!
Where exactly is this taking place?
SNOMED CT and FHIR Day of the Dev will take place at the Pan Pacific Hotel Vancouver, an incredible waterfront location. It's a pre-conference session for the SNOMED CT Expo 2018 conference, an annual conference that rotates around to different regions of the world.
Is there a Slack channel?
