1Review subprojects / timeline

  • Subpages have been created for each major content item carried forward from Collabnet. In the absence of specific content requests, I would like to begin the task of converting our "problems" into formal content projects. All I'm after in this meeting is for us to select a "first among equals." Then I'll start developing the required documentation.
    • The order of the subprojects on the page is a suggestion of my priorities. Vaguely, they are ranked in terms of solvability (high to low) and existing documentation of the problem and/or suggested courses of action (high to low). I think I know how to proceed with serotypes. I think I have no clue how to fix X-like.
    • I welcome your suggestions concerning the order of execution of these projects.

We have been contacted by editorial staff. Modeling guidance is being sought for findings concepts that use organism content for values (causative agent role mostly). Specifically, there is confusion concerning the presence of what seem like duplicates in the upper hierarchies. This includes but may not be limited to 41146007 | Bacterium (organism) that is a subtype of but also appears to duplicate 409822003 | Superkingdom Bacteria (organism) as well as 23496000 | Fungus (organism) a subtype of "micro-organism" and 414561005 | Kingdom Fungi (organism) a subtype of 415671008 | Superkingdom Eukaryota (organism).

Farzaneh Ashrafi

Farzaneh has brought a request for editorial guidance re: Clostridium botulinum groups and toxins. Please see documents she has posted on our "Groups, complexes and other representations." sub-project page. "New" is in quotes because Jeff Wilcke believes that this subject fell by the wayside some time ago and needs to be addressed.
