New Pain Assessment Page

Hi All,

We hope you get a chance to check out our new Pain assessment page! There you will find files with information and pain quality terms for February’s Nursing CRG call discussion. If you have any information about Pain quality to share ahead of our Feb 8th call, feel free to post your files there as well.

Cheers!

Christine and Erica

Hi All,

First we would like to thank everyone for joining our call yesterday and for providing constructive feedback. February's discussion will continue with the Pain assessment value set, starting with pain quality. Next week we will be creating a new page for Pain related material and information in preparation for our discussions. There we will also gather information from the group  about clinical documentation of pain in your countries and or organizations. For example:

  • common pain quality terminology
  • common pain assessment scales
  • recommendations and requirements on assessing and documenting pain

Unfortunately we will need to put our NANDA-I terms for discussion on hold. SNOMED International will be reaching out to NANDA-I and get back to us with further information.

We look forward to seeing you all next month and look out for an update next week!
