When restoring a termserver or JIRA backup the two can become out of sync. This can cause a problem when JIRA creates an issue which already exists as a branch on the termserver. The solution to this problem is to simply increase the issue counter for each JIRA project so new issues created do not have existing branches in the termserver.
SSH into dev-workflow or another JIRA machine.
To increase the issue counter to 210 for project DEPLOYTEST:
mysql> use jiradb;
mysql> update project set pcounter=210 where pkey='DEPLOYTEST';
Now the next issue created in the DEPLOYTEST project will be DEPLOYTEST-211.
